It is my pleasure to welcome CMG to the membership here.
A review of the "How to Ski Better" section shows that back on April 8th, '08, I wrote a Technique article on "Training Day" .... that was dedicated to CMG.
If memory serves correctly, it was Sunday April the 6th, 2 days prior to that article, that was a very special day at Tremblant.
We are talking about possibly one of the finest days of arguably the finest of seasons..... ever... (We will be talking about the record, best in 60 years, snow season of 07/08 for a LONG time ... )
Anyway, CMG and I had the opportunity to share some training laps/runs over on the North side and the conditions and the runs were exceptional.
Of course, part of the reason that it was such a special occasion was that there was a shared experience.
Perhaps it is shared experience that marks the essence of mutual appreciation that occurs between Tremblant's most dedicated fans .... who take great delight in the pure ski/board experience of our favorite mountain. (Take a minute to flip over to the article, hopefully, you'll see part of what I mean.)
It is that sense of shared experience that extends to this site when members can make another connection, but with the same common interest ... TREMBLANT ... !!!!!
So ... Point is .... if you are not actually cruisin'/shreddin'/rippin' the runs then you can have still have fun sharing the memories, the experience, the expertise and the passion for Tremblant in a positive way right here.
We may not have the biggest membership yet, but with people like CMG, we absolutely have the BEST.
CMG brings a depth of knowledge that covers the "Big Picture" from top to bottom. She knows the Mountain, the Resort, the Village, the Town and the People.
I look forward to her input wherever she may like to contribute.
It is our privilege to have her here and I would encourage any readers/Members, now or in the future to consider her as a most valuable resource for Tremblant information.
Sincerely .... QT'z
Buy the way CMG, what's your favorite run and why?
